Role Description

Sensa Padel is looking for several Part Time Welcome Center Team Members for our first padel club in Hyde Park, Boston, which will open in early summer. This is a pivotal part of the founding team and Sensa's story. We are seeking natural leaders to run the Welcome Center and Pro Shop. You will play a key role in club operations, deliver a world class customer experience, & work closely with a team of welcome center team members on site.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports, community and bringing people together. You will be on the front lines of our padel club, becoming friends with a new and growing padel community! We want some customer obsessed team members looking to create the best playing facility in Boston and hyper focused on good daily operations. Location - Boston

This role is full-time and in person at our Boston location: Hyde Park, in the Bosse Sports Facility.

Relocate before starting work (Required)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 16 per week

Shift: Nighttime Shift: 7 pm to 11 pm, 4 to 5 days per week


Key Responsibilities

● Serve as a first contact representative of Sensa Padel-Boston

● Knowledgeable of daily review of printed materials, bulletin boards and informational postings

● Answer questions about the facility, programs and services in an accurate, timely and friendly manner. If unable to answer a question, direct the question to someone who is likely to have the information

● Provide guidance with: Lessons, activity registrations, clinics/special event registrations and retail merchandise

● Control use of facilities by assigning court reservations through our software

● Answer incoming telephone calls, assist the caller directly and monitor the “voice mail”

● Perform shop and court light cleaning tasks: litter pickup, dusting, and keeping up an orderly display of products

● Consistently demonstrates leadership behaviors aligned with Sensa Padel values

● Oversee check-in of pickleball and basketball players for Bosse Sports 

Qualifications

● Ability to communicate professionally to guests and employees
 
● Ability to operate computer hardware necessary to input information such as keyboard and mouse
 
● Ability to type error-free at a minimum rate of 25 words per minute
 
● Ability to use the following types of equipment: Telephone, credit card transaction verifier, adding machine, computer printer and communications radio
 
● Ability to perform tasks under occasional stress while maintaining a pleasing image to patrons and employees
 
● Eligibility to work in the US
